Stainless steel angles come in various grades—most commonly 304/304L, 316/316L for chloride resistance, 430 for cost-effective ferritic needs, and duplex grades for enhanced strength. The typical austenitic grades (304/316) contain around 17–20% chromium and 8–14% nickel, with 316 featuring an additional 2–4% molybdenum. The mechanical properties of annealed austenitic angle stock generally show tensile strength between 515–690 MPa, yield strength around 205–310 MPa, and elongation greater than 40%; hardness usually falls between 150–200 HB. Duplex angles provide superior yield and tensile strengths. All materials are supplied with MTCs, and heat treatment or surface finishing can be arranged upon request.
