Stainless Steel 410S is a low-carbon ferritic/martensitic chromium alloy that contains about 11.5–13.5% chromium, with carbon levels kept to ≤0.08% to enhance weldability and minimize hardening during fabrication. It also includes trace amounts of manganese and silicon. In its annealed tubing form, the typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 380–550 MPa, yield strength of approximately 205–350 MPa, and elongation of about 20–30%, with hardness generally ranging from 150–190 HB depending on processing. 410S provides good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures and predictable mechanical behavior post-welding; all materials come with full certification and optional NDT.
