Stainless Steel 330 is a high-nickel, high-chromium austenitic alloy that contains about 33–37% nickel and 17–20% chromium, along with controlled amounts of carbon and silicon to enhance its resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. Its typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 550–750 MPa, yield strength ranging from 205–310 MPa, and an elongation of 30–45%, depending on the condition. SS 330 maintains its structural stability, creep resistance, and toughness at temperatures above 1000°C, making it ideal for long-term thermal service and environments that experience repeated heating and cooling.
