Stainless Steel 17-7 PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel that contains about 16–18% chromium, 6.5–7.75% nickel, and 0.75–1.5% aluminum, all while maintaining a low carbon content. This alloy undergoes heat treatment to achieve remarkable strength. After precipitation hardening, its typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 1000–1400 MPa, yield strength around 900–1200 MPa, and an elongation of about 5–15%, depending on the condition. It boasts excellent fatigue resistance, good corrosion resistance, and stable performance under cyclic loading and moderate temperature exposure.
