E317LT1 flux-cored wire produces a low-carbon, high-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel weld metal. Its typical composition features chromium at 18–20%, nickel at 13–15%, and molybdenum at 3–4%, with carbon levels kept minimal to avoid intergranular corrosion. The resulting weld metal delivers tensile strength between 550–750 MPa, yield strength around 350–450 MPa, and an elongation of about 35–45%. It showcases excellent toughness, strong resistance to hot cracking, and superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance when compared to 316-grade fillers.
