Khaled Stainless, located in Cairo, Egypt, specializes in providing Stainless Steel 347 bars that are designed for high-temperature, corrosion-resistant, and weld-critical applications. These bars are manufactured with precise dimensional tolerances, clean surface finishes, and carefully controlled metallurgy, ensuring that the niobium-stabilized austenitic bars maintain stable mechanical performance even under continuous heat exposure. Khaled Stainless caters to refineries, petrochemical plants, boiler and heat-exchanger manufacturers, and heavy fabrication units, where standard 304/316 bars might struggle due to carbide precipitation or thermal degradation. With certified material traceability, consistent quality, and reliable delivery schedules, Khaled Stainless guarantees dependable bar stock for machining, fabrication, and high-temperature structural components.
Stainless Steel 347 is a niobium-stabilized austenitic alloy that contains around 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and controlled amounts of niobium to prevent carbide precipitation during welding or prolonged heat exposure. The carbon content is typically kept at ≤0.08%. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 515–750 MPa, yield strength of around 205–310 MPa, and elongation in the 30–40% range. This alloy is known for its excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, good toughness, and strong thermal stability within the 425–900°C temperature range, outperforming non-stabilized grades in weld heat-affected zones and elevated-temperature service.
