Khaled Stainless, based in Cairo, Egypt, specializes in crafting precision-engineered Stainless Steel 416 bolts that are perfect for applications demanding top-notch machinability, dependable strength, and consistent dimensional accuracy. These bolts are made from certified 416 alloy bars and are either cold-headed or machined to meet strict tolerances. When necessary, they undergo heat treatment to achieve the desired mechanical properties. Thanks to its free-machining chemistry, Stainless Steel 416 is ideal for mass production of hex bolts, socket head bolts, studs, and custom fasteners. Each batch comes with mill test certificates, heat numbers, and full traceability. Khaled Stainless caters to the automotive, pump manufacturing, machinery, and general engineering sectors both locally and internationally.
Stainless Steel 416 is a martensitic chromium stainless alloy that contains around 11.5–13.5% chromium, moderate carbon (about 0.15–0.33%), and sulfur or selenium additions (approximately 0.15–0.35%) to boost machinability. It also includes small amounts of manganese and silicon. The mechanical properties vary based on the condition: tensile strength usually falls between 500–900 MPa, yield strength ranges from 275–620 MPa, and elongation is between 8–25%, depending on heat treatment. Hardness can reach 48–52 HRC when quenched and tempered, while annealed bolts are softer for easier machining. The material is provided with MTCs and optional third-party inspections.

Stainless Steel 416 bolts are ideal for applications where excellent machinability, solid mechanical strength, and moderate corrosion resistance are essential. You’ll often find them in automotive components, pumps, valves, gear housings, machinery assemblies, shafts, and various engineering structures. Their free-machining properties make them perfect for precision-turned bolt designs and threaded components produced in large volumes. However, they aren’t the best choice for highly corrosive or marine environments unless they’re coated for protection.
