Khaled Stainless, located in Cairo, Egypt, offers a comprehensive selection of Stainless Steel 317L fasteners designed specifically for high-corrosion and high-chloride industrial settings. Crafted from low-carbon 317L alloy, our fasteners—including bolts, nuts, screws, washers, studs, and custom assemblies—boast remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical damage thanks to their high molybdenum content. Each fastener is meticulously formed, threaded with precision, and thoroughly inspected to meet international standards. We provide complete mill test certification, traceability, and options for custom sizing. Khaled Stainless caters to the chemical processing, marine, desalination, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, where long-lasting reliability and corrosion resistance are crucial.
Stainless Steel 317L is an austenitic alloy that contains about 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, with a very low carbon content (≤0.03%) to reduce sensitization during welding. This unique chemical composition significantly enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion compared to 316L. The mechanical properties of 317L fastener stock typically feature tensile strength ranging from 515–690 MPa, yield strength around 205–275 MPa, elongation exceeding 40% in the annealed state, and hardness between approximately 150–200 HB, depending on the level of cold work. All fasteners come with certification and the option for third-party inspection.
