Stainless Steel 310 is an austenitic alloy rich in chromium and nickel (approximately 24–26% Cr, 19–22% Ni), with carbon content up to about 0.25%, along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and nitrogen. This unique composition grants it exceptional resistance to oxidation and scaling at high temperatures, along with impressive creep strength. The mechanical properties of fasteners can vary based on their condition, but they typically exhibit tensile strength in the range of approximately 515–750 MPa, yield strength around 205–310 MPa, and elongation of about 30–40%.
