Khaled Stainless, located in Cairo, Egypt, specializes in providing Stainless Steel 316L stud bolts designed for corrosion-resistant bolting systems in tough process and marine settings. These bolts are crafted from certified 316L bar stock, featuring controlled threading, precise dimensional tolerances, and a smooth surface finish. They meet industrial bolting standards and come with complete material traceability. Khaled Stainless offers a variety of lengths and diameters, along with optional cold-working or passivation upon request, catering to EPC contractors, refineries, chemical plants, desalination projects, and offshore installations. With reliable stock, batch testing, and expert technical guidance, they ensure long-lasting joint integrity in chloride-rich and corrosive environments.
Stainless Steel 316L is a low-carbon austenitic alloy that contains about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with carbon kept to ≤0.03% to reduce sensitization. The mechanical properties of 316L fasteners can vary based on manufacturing and cold work: tensile strength typically falls between ~480–760 MPa, yield strength is around 170–310 MPa, and elongation is roughly 35–40%. This alloy is known for its excellent toughness, good ductility, and strong resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. Stud bolts can be provided in either annealed or cold-worked conditions, depending on the required strength.

316L stud bolts are commonly used for bolted joints that are exposed to seawater, chloride-laden atmospheres, and corrosive process fluids. Typical applications include flange bolting in chemical and petrochemical plants, desalination and water treatment systems, offshore platforms, marine engineering, heat exchangers, pumps, and hygienic processing equipment in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Their low-carbon composition makes them particularly suitable for situations where welding or post-weld corrosion could be a concern.
