Khaled Stainless, located in Cairo, Egypt, stands out as a dependable supplier of AWS Class ER320LR MIG and TIG filler welding wires and rods, specifically designed for tough acid-corrosion applications. The ER320LR is a low-carbon, low-residual super-austenitic welding consumable that perfectly complements 320/Alloy 20 type materials. At Khaled Stainless, they maintain rigorous standards for chemical composition, wire diameter consistency, and surface finish, ensuring reliable arc performance and flawless welds. With complete material traceability and certification, ER320LR filler metals from Khaled Stainless are highly regarded by fertilizer plants, chemical processors, and OEM fabricators throughout Egypt and beyond.
ER320LR is a fully austenitic, copper-bearing stainless filler metal, typically composed of 19–21% chromium, 33–35% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, 3–4% copper, and a very low carbon content. This low-residual formulation enhances resistance to hot cracking and boosts corrosion reliability. The mechanical properties of the deposited weld metal typically showcase a tensile strength ranging from 520–690 MPa, a yield strength of about 210–350 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 35–45%. It boasts excellent ductility, toughness, and remarkable resistance to sulfuric acid environments.

These rods come in diameters ranging from 1.6mm to 4.8mm, providing versatility for various welding needs. They offer superior corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular and stress corrosion cracking. The ER320LR alloy composition makes them ideal for use in high-stress and high-temperature applications.
we conduct rigorous internal tests on our AWS Class ER320LR MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod to ensure their superior performance and reliability. These tests include checks for weld strength, corrosion resistance and overall durability to meet stringent industry standards. We also offer third-party inspection services to provide additional assurance. Our focus on prompt delivery. Assure that our customers receive high-quality products on time, meeting their specific project requirements without delays.
ER320LR welding wire and rod are tailored for joining and overlaying Alloy 20, 320 stainless steel, and other similar copper-bearing austenitic alloys that face harsh acidic conditions. Key applications include sulfuric acid processing plants, fertilizer facilities, phosphoric acid equipment, pickling lines, heat exchangers, reactors, storage tanks, and acid piping systems. Additionally, it serves as a corrosion-resistant cladding on carbon steel in the chemical industry. ER320LR excels in resisting pitting, intergranular corrosion, and chemical attacks, where standard 316 or 904L fillers may falter under continuous acidic exposure.
