Our 416 pipes are available in standard schedules and custom wall thicknesses, with options for annealing, cold-drawing, and various surface finishes. Khaled Stainless caters to automotive, hydraulic, and manufacturing clients with personalized cut-to-length, testing, and packaging services to guarantee timely delivery and optimal performance.
Stainless Steel 416 is a martensitic chromium alloy that contains approximately 11.5–13.5% chromium, with carbon levels typically ranging from 0.15–0.33%, and small amounts of sulfur or selenium (~0.15–0.35%) to improve machinability. It may also have low levels of manganese and silicon, while phosphorus is kept to a minimum. The mechanical properties vary based on temper: annealed pipe stock typically offers tensile strength between 450–650 MPa and yield strength around 250–450 MPa, with elongation of about 10–25%. When heat-treated, 416 can achieve even higher tensile and yield strengths, along with hardness levels reaching approximately 48–52 HRC in a quenched-and-tempered state. Material certification and heat-treatment records are available upon request.
