AWS Class E309LMo-16 Electrodes are composed primarily of iron with chromium (22-25%), nickel (12-14%), and small amounts of molybdenum (0.75%). The presence of molybdenum enhances corrosion resistance, especially in acidic and high-temperature environments. These electrodes offer excellent weldability, high strength and resistance to oxidation and corrosion. They are ideal for welding dissimilar metals, offering superior joint integrity, reduced cracking, and good toughness.
