Stainless Steel 446 Sheets and Plates are made from a high-chromium ferritic stainless steel alloy, containing about 25–30% chromium. This composition provides impressive resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and scaling, even at extreme temperatures. This grade offers moderate tensile and yield strength, excellent thermal conductivity, and strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Thanks to its ferritic structure, it maintains good dimensional stability during thermal cycling.
